Sharonda K. Williams is a seasoned and inspirational educator who has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and fostering academic growth since 2005. With two decades of experience in the classroom, she currently teaches Math, Science, and Social Studies, engaging students with thoughtful instruction, meaningful connections, and high expectations grounded in empathy and care.
Ms. Williams is a proud alumna of Wilkinson County High School. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, she later received her Master’s Degree from Cambridge College, further enriching her educational philosophy and classroom practices.
Her teaching is anchored in the belief that “all students can learn if they are taught with love, compassion, and grace.” This powerful philosophy guides her daily interactions and helps her create a supportive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to succeed.
Over the years, Ms. Williams has been recognized multiple times as Teacher of the Year, a reflection of her excellence in teaching, communication, and deep dedication to student achievement. She is known for her unwavering patience, strong classroom presence, and ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in her students.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Williams enjoys solving crossword puzzles, a hobby that sharpens her mind and reflects her love for learning and problem-solving. She is a devoted fan of the classic game show Jeopardy!, and dreams of one day fulfilling a bucket list wish of traveling to Hawaii, embracing new experiences and the beauty of the world beyond the classroom.
Rooted in her faith, Ms. Williams draws inspiration from her favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This verse encapsulates her sense of purpose and her commitment to helping every child build a hopeful and bright future.
